The meta for AX Combat.	Very high heat generation, which basically necessitates heat sink spam.
Works very similar to railguns.	These weapons only do about 50% of their listed damage against non-Thargoid ships.
Typically used to target exerted Thargoid hearts.
Different sizes have same shot delay unlike railguns

Each version of this weapon must be separately unlocked at a Guardian Technology Broker.

Special

Modified Guardian Gauss Cannon

Engineered with High Capacity. They fire in bursts of 3 shots similar to an Imperial Hammer railgun.

Also similar to the Imperial Hammer, you must hit with all 3 bursts to achieve maximum damage. This is comparatively difficult compared to normal Gauss Cannons.

These generate a lot of heat.
